Non-destructive testing inspector according to DIN EN ISO 9712/ 4179 / ASNT (m/w/d)

For our location in Stade we are looking for a non-destructive testing inspector according to DIN EN ISO 9712/ 4179 / ASNT (m/w/d)

YOUR TASKS - what you can expect:

  • Independent performance of non-destructive material tests on metallic and non-metallic materials (CFRP, GFRP and adhesives)
  • Evaluate test results according to applicable standards, regulations or specifications and documentation of test results of non-destructive tests
  • Approximately 80-90% of work performed on projects in European countries on site, possibility to support Mistras inspectors of other divisions worldwide

YOUR PROFILE - qualification you should have:

  • Completed training as an inspector in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) for metallic materials, for UT (Ultrasonic Inspection) level 2, UTPA (UT Phased Array), MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection), VT (Visual Testing) or ECT (Eddy Current Testing)
  • Preferably: TOFD (Time of Flight Diffraction), TFM (Total Focusing Method), and/or skilled technician on rotor blades with NDT background with corresponding several years of practical experience also as a team lead
  • Knowledge of testing technology and current testing regulations and standards
  • Confident handling of inspection devices, experience with data processing and evaluation
  • Ability to build inspection strategy, communications with a customer and frequently feedback on corporate Level 3, results orientation and good interpersonal skills
  • Confident handling of MS-Office applications
  • Good knowledge of German in speaking and writing
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Ability to work in a team - Independent working style - Quality awareness
  • You have a driving license class B (BE)
